Founded in 2007, Oyster Risk Solutions is based in Leeds and operates a network of Business Managers across the UK. This structure allows clients to choose a company with the national resource they need, without the drawbacks of dealing with a faceless, bureaucratic corporation.
Each Oyster client is allocated a locally-based Business Manager who can provide everything from day-to-day assistance to a long-term risk management consultancy. They're empowered with underwriting authority from a leading insurer, allowing them to make on-the-spot decisions on a range of risks.
That's backed up by access to a London Markets facility for those harder-to-place risks - a benefit of being part of one of the UK’s largest insurance intermediaries, the Ardonagh Group, which controls over £3 billion of gross written premiums.
In 2008 our innovative approach was recognised by the Chartered Institute of Insurance, when we became one of only a handful of brokers in the UK to receive Chartered Status - a mark of our company's and our people's professionalism.
